At Bentley, we recognize that people and products are intrinsically interwoven- social responsibility and material sustainability go hand in hand. We are committed to the important, ongoing work of social engagement within our organization and our community.
GLASS HOUSES
LOOKING INSIDE
Studies show that a diverse organization is inherently more creative, resilient, and profitable. At Bentley, we know that business has the power and the responsibility to influence and transform our society into a more open, diverse, and inclusive community.
With over 400 team members, we at Bentley continually strive to create an ever more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. We prioritize ethical and safe working conditions and provide robust resources for mental health and career development. We are extremely proud of the fact that over 70% of our employees are minority and our sales force is 77% female. Additionally, over 42% of our supervisor level positions are held by women.
LOOKING OUTSIDE
Bentley has proudly called Southern California home since we first opened our doors back in 1979. We are an extremely engaged member of our Los Angeles County community and we seek out opportunities to partner with local organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those who have been historically underserved. We partner with and support organizations that assist our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness and support our local LA Food Bank which is right down the street from our headquarters.
Beginning in 2019, we reimagined our annual NeoCon participation to include a charitable giving campaign directly benefitting local Southern California at-risk communities. Tying our non-profit support with the largest annual gathering of our customers and industry peers, allows us to raise awareness of our campaign and shine a light on those in need. We also spotlight this annual initiative in our showrooms around the country which has the dual impact of funding solutions in our own neighborhood while inspiring others to do the same in their local communities.
